Cologne-based electronic-pop two-piece VIMES (aka Azar Syed & Julian Stetter) have made a song with a euphoric chorus that sticks. In fact, 'Mind' won't just stick, but bury itself in your grey matter and put its feet up for the night. So what is the track actually about? "Things you despise and still can’t live without, due to the fact you are actually made up of them," they say in their press release. "It narrates how gazing into the looking glass can reveal weaknesses. The chorus is a complete turnaround and calls out to everything you’d ever want to be, to something or someone flawless." It's taken from their debut album Nights In Limbo, out 12th February on Humming Records, which we are rather looking forward to hearing. -AW
